    Kofferia is an upscale bakery dishing out dazzling breakfasts, pastries, inventive coffee drinks, ice cream, and plated desserts. It also offers delightful biscotti, sesame shortbread, pecan sticky bunsbiscuits and scones. For lunch, savory options include beef pho kolache, Hot Cheeto grilled cheese, and carbonara and ratatouille quiches (weekends only). All in an airy and playful setting with a white backdrop and handsome mid-century furniture, plus colorful art designed to be conversation pieces. The vibe isn’t serious, and the pastries don’t look serious at first blush. But truly, these creations are on another level.

    There’s a lot to love, but what we really love about Toasters is its all-day breakfast, especially the most obscenely decadent dish on that breakfast menu: bananas foster French toast, served with two eggs and two strips of bacon so that you can pretend you’re eating “breakfast” instead of what is clearly and awesomely a huge plate of dessert.
